<p>Okay I have a friend who is currently enrolled at two schools - long story. He at first wanted to go to one school, so he sent his check there. But after visiting the other school, he liked it a lot more, so he sent his check there as well and filled out his housing app. What is he to do now? Can he still decline the offer to the first school after already enrolling? How should he go about it?</p>

<p>Why doesn't he call and ask them, he doesn't have to give a name if he is worried, but they WILL find out and its only fair to tell them now</p>

<p>Some schools will actually return deposits, if requested prior to May 1st. If he is sure in his decision, he can contact the school he will NOT attend, to withdraw his enrollment. </p>
<p>If still uncertain, he has nothing to lose but the deposit. That would buy more time to make a final decision. Of course, until he does that, he needs to continue the process at both schools, in terms of placement testing and selecting classes.</p>
