Enrolled at Rutgers! Scholarship + Honors Program Questions.

Stats before I begin:

Enrolling at SAS - New Brunswick
GPA 3.51 UW, (not sure about W but probably not much higher)
SAT 1990 (720 CR, 600 M, 670 W not superscored)
White
Female
In-State
AP Scores: 5 (US History)
SAT II's (600 Literature 650 US History) (REALLY NOT SURE IF I SHOULD SEND THESE)
Work experience: I've had two jobs and a political internship
EC's: alot, but I usually don't stick with them. No sports.
Volunteering: Easily 400+ hours
Financial need: I'm a triplet, two other brothers plan to attend private schools. Have no idea what my income is, it's probably very high but I'm expected to pay my own tuition.

I've been concerned with scholarships and the Honors Program. I'm really anxious so I'll probably apply to the Honors Program as soon as the consideration form comes out ( I'm not expecting an invitation). My GPA is a little low but I'm very academically motivated and I've steadily gone from standard classes in freshman year to 1 AP/1 Honors class Junior year and 3 AP's senior year.

Also: scholarships. Do I have a chance at getting the Scarlet Scholarship if my SAT score is a mere 40 points above the minimum? I have some financial need, but my GPA is low. Does it matter if I have a high SAT for a SAS student?

So, I guess my questions to Rutgers students and anyone who wants to chime in are 1. do I have a chance at the Honors Program? and 2. Will I have a chance at scholarships?

Thank you!

You may actually receive an invitation for the honors program , don’t sell yourself short. Your SAT score is enough to be considered. As for the scholarship it is possible for you to receive the scarlet one but it also depends on your financial aid tbh so I can’t really say. But I’m sure you’ll get other scholarships from them as well.

Honors program, my guess is no (but if you can apply, I would, doesn’t hurt). Scholarships, maybe some need based. Rutgers is tough for scholarships because everyone applies there. A lot of competition.
