<p>I have a query about the enrolment at CMU. I understand that there's a deposit of $600 to be paid by 1 May. What happens if I cannot meet this deadline (due to certain temporary financial cashflow reasons)? Could I respond later [perhaps with a penalty]?</p>

<p>You should call the admissions office right away and ask them this. They are very responsive and will be the only ones who can tell you the accurate answer.</p>

called them up yesterday and they said that it was not possible to submit the deposit later. ah well!</p>
