Enrolling in courses you don't have prereqs for...

I'm a junior transfer student and noticed Telebears lets you enroll in classes you may not have a prereq for. So is it actually possible to take a class that you don't have a prereq for, or do those students get dropped from the class when the semester starts or something?

depends on the prof sometimes. but people have definitely been removed from the enrollment before for not having done the prereqs. if you have a good telebears time, just sign up for it at your own risk, but also sign up for your back up class.

hmm so is it always based on the professor? i wanna take econ 100a which has a 420 student limit but i don’t have the Math 1A requirement. i’ve studied calc on my own so i never took it at the college i transferred from.

^ If you any queries based on a particular course, just contact the professor.

how can you be a junior and never have taken 1A?

“junior transfer student,” meaning he probably did more important major/elective reqs.

email the prof and ask; he’s the only one who would think to kick you out.
