Enrollment Decision Forms?

So I decided I will unfortunately not be attending Tulane next year - but now I can't seem to find the form to tell them this.

I have read my acceptance letter a few times to see if there are any clues but all it says that more information will be sent to me, which I never got. I've only gotten the occasional email from an admissions officer asking me of whether or not I will enroll, but those emails were received before I had all of my decisions in.

I was able to find the Intent to Enroll form at their website, but where's the Withdrawal Form?

I know I'm able to just write them a letter, but frankly filling out a form will be just so much easier. I'd write the letter if the form is nonexistent. I know I sound lazy, but maybe one of you can help me out?

If you haven’t already told them you would enroll, just click the “NO” links in those emails.

If you did tell them you would enroll, and you just changed your mind, they likely don’t have any form for that because it doesn’t happen that much.

To whom it may concern:

After reviewing my options for next fall, I have decided to withdraw my enrollment from Tulane’s Class of 2013. I appreciate your offer of admission, and I am sorry that I will not be attending.

Sincerely,

There. Copy, paste, print, done.

No, I never told them I was going to enroll. I’ve always just said Undecided - but now those emails have stopped coming. I can’t find any of them in my inbox.

bestwhit - just find out who your admissions counselor is (Dave Seaver if you are in the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale area, Pacale Gerdes otherwise. Go here: http://admission.tulane.edu/counselors/index.php</a> and plug in your state and zip to be sure and to get their e-mail addy) and send them an e-mail saying that you appreciate the offer of admission but have decided to go elsewhere. Give them you full name, address and birthdate, and if your admission letter gave you a code give them that also. That should be sufficient.

Just curious, you say unfortunately. Can you say why you are not going?

You didn’t keep the letters they sent you, either? They sent me at least two, on top of all the emails…

If you don’t have your name and password, ask your admissions counselor like fallenchemist said.

@fallenchemist: Thank you. I guess I’ll write the letter even though I’m feeling a little lazy. And I say unfortunately because I want to be polite - despite the 24k/yr, I didn’t really like Tulane, plain and simple, but I wanted to keep this thread nice :).
@ pFNMCp: I kept all of the letters and I can’t, for the life of me, find a user name or password. I would always look and I could never find it.

bestwhit - NP. Sorry you didn’t like Tulane, but that’s what the visits and searches are all about! After all, if Tulane, or any other school, were right for everyone, there would be something really wrong. And thank you for keeping it nice, that is so mature of you and appreciated. Nonetheless, it is always interesting to hear what someone did or didn’t like about a place, especially if just opinion. Would you be willing to share? Obviously at this point no one is going to try and talk you out of it, lol. Also, where are you going? Just fun to know, if you don’t mind saying.
