Enrollment deposit

Got a quick question… on the UA website it says that the enrollment deposit goes towards my Fall tuition. Does this mean that it will be refunded when I get the NMF or Presidential scholarship?

It’s applied to your tuition and fees.

The scholly doesn’t cover the approx. $10 per hour fees for the various courses. So you likely will not have any extra money left over but if you do they will refund it to you.

Ohhh, okay. On UA’s website where it says cost of attendance, it says this:

The estimated average cost for college/course fees combined per semester is $365.00.

Is that what you’re talking about?

Yes. Here’s the specific info. [College Course Fees](http://cost.ua.edu/college_coursefees.html)

Yes…

You’re going to have course fees and a meal plan charge, so your deposit will go towards that.

Course fees can be a surprise, but actually Bama’s are quite reasonable. We’ve seen them as high as over $1000 per semester at other schools.
