I didn't send in my enrollment deposit yet and Im going to apply for financial aid. I got in ED and acknowledged my attendance but I wanted to know when the enrollment deposit was due and if I'm in trouble if it passed?

It was due December 21st. I’m not sure if you’ll be penalized or not though.

Didn’t you read your acceptance pkg?

What do yoou mean"I’m going to apply" for financial aid? That ship sailed for ED.

Yea I did and it didnt sail because Im still able to apply until march 1st

And the acceptance package said the online reply was due the 21st not the deposit

They sent me a note saying I could still apply for financial aid and the enrollment deposit could be decreased or waived which is why I was asking when it was due

And the acceptance package said the online reply was due the 21st not the deposit

The info I recieved said financial aid info needed to be submitted by Nov. 1st and that Deposit by Dec. 21st

Really? My checklist said the reply was due dec 21st but didnt say for the deposit

thats why Im confused. And the financial aid was due Nov 1st1st if you wanted to be notified by dec 12

Hi Jlaine. Congrats on acceptance. We were required to apply for fin aid in early Nov with our application(PFAS due 11/1-15, CSS Profile due Nov. 6th, 2011 tax returns due 11/6)Thats what my info and Penn website says. This enables Fin. aid recipients to determine if they can afford to enroll or if they need to decline ED and apply elsewhere. If I was you I’d call the Fin. aid dept ASAP. I see on your profile you play tennis, my son is #1 singles on his team, he’s thinking of trying out for the Penn Club team.Good Luck

yea I sent the deposit yesterday and called today. I applied for fin aid on Saturday and they said that I should receive what the package is in a week to ten days, thanks! Also, that’s cool because I’m second singles on my team and I’ m going to play Penn Club tennis and try to walk on to varsity the next year. Hopefully I’ 'll be playing on the same team as your son next year!

That would be great. Maybe we’ll see you @ Penn Day April 5th. Good Luck
