Entering UGA, then Applying for Terry...

I'm a Fall '11 transfer student to UGA with a 3.86 GPA at a community college in Georgia. I recently spoke to an admission representative who informed me Terry opens about 500-800 seats per semester only. He then proceeded to say UGA students will always have priority seats over transfers - and that only students with 3.7-4.0 enter the Terry program. Is anyone inside Terry on this forum? How hard is the entry test, and would you say with my GPA I should choose Terry over Robinson (GSU's business school).

I just transferred to UGA. Admissions to Terry for fall have already closed. I don’t see how you wouldn’t be considered a student after one semester. I was told by other Terry students that the entry test is easy. My GPA is no where in that range you stated but my advisor still thinks I have good chance at getting in. I won’t be applying until Fall 11 for Spring 2012. You get to choose two majors when applying so if you don’t get into your first choice you’ll definitely get into your second. This information is coming from a Terry advisor.
