entertainment law

does anyone know of any good law schools that would have a major geared towards music or the entertainment industry?

Law schools don't usually create majors like that. Law school is mainly designed for you to take a lot of courses on general areas of the law. Courses beyond the basics that you can take at many law schools that would relate to the entertainment area include copyrights and trademarks and other intellectual property courses, labor law (someone has to deal with the unions), tax law (you better know it if you are going to represent an entertainer), and some have courses geared toward mediations and negotiations. Virtually all who specialize in entertainment law got there through job experience by working for a firm that does it and not through taking particular courses in law school.
