Entertainment on Campus

<p>Can anyone comment on the types of entertainment that Denison offers on the weekends? Bands? Speakers? Other?</p>

<p>I know they have a lot of movies, there are concerts, and comedians and speakers. I know Rob Corddry from the Daily Show was there and he was great. Roslyn Carter was there for a talk to kick off the Denison Habitat for Humanity House project (they built a house). Pat McGee (a band) and Kid Capri (a DJ) were there. I know my son likes the improv shows (Burpy's Seedy Theatrical Company) a lot. Also there was this: The Chaksampa Tibetan Dance and Opera Company. And there are lots of theater things.</p>

<p>He is also gone now and then on weekends with the ultimate frisbee team. (They go to other schools for tournements.) Also Denison has trips places (he hasn't gone on one yet) like Washington, Chicago, NYC, Cedar Point and skiing.</p>

<p>They host the Vail Series every year, which brings to campus top notch performances and my son has LOVED them all. Here is what came this year:
