Entire Semester Financial Aid Refund Given at Once

Is your entire semester financial aid refund given at once? I'm living off campus with an EFC of 0 and I was only refunded around $2,000 this semester is this correct? With $21,000 dollars of gift aid a year and $ 12460 in "tuition fees". Shouldn't the rest of the financial aid be refunded? So, I should be expecting around $4000 this semester. I still need to pay for rent, food, books, etc.

I have an EFC of 0, and that’s what I got. The refund is based on what’s left in your CARS account after all the bills.

Yea, thanks for the answer but isnt tuition+insurance the only amount that should be automatically charged and the rest should be refunded?

Is there some sort of financial aid adviser I can talk to while I’m on campus?

Yeah you have go to 2nd floor of Sproul Hall. Be prepared to wait 1-2 hours to see someone though.
