<p>Hey y'all, I'm a US applicant who's applying for McGill, as well as for the major entrance scholarship ($5,000-10,000). I'd like to know whether anyone else is and what my chances of receiving one are. I've heard that these scholarships are mighty hard to come by ... anyway, here are my stats:</p>

Writing 750
SAT II: Biology 750, Math IIC 750, Physics 730
AP Courses: Biology, French, Calculus BC, US History</p>
<p>I'm working on the essays this weekend (decent at writing essays, I suppose).
One good recommendation, one not-so-sure.
Extracurricular activities are my weak point; I have a handful of hours of community service, officer of a club and won a few writing competitions ... that's it.</p>
<p>And one last thing (can't believe I didn't think of this earlier), does anyone know whether the $5,000-10,000 scholarships is in Canadian or US dollars?? It's bloody confusing!</p>
