Entrepreneurial Club? :)

Hey everyone. I'm considerring of starting an Entrepreneurial Club due to my interest in Business. Any ideas on how to run one or the activities I could do? I was thinking of an mock investment thing. And also starting small businesses for short times. Any input ? :):D Thank you!

Capitalism is the work of the devil.

.. okay. Any real suggestions? I'm in Beijing, China. Therefore it's a communist country. So don't talk to me about capitalism.

Capitalism is what enables you to use that computer and internet, dumb *****.

Edit: Not you protege, I am refering to Ms.self righteous liberal here.

Edit: Quit talking about the devil. You don't believe in the devil anymore than I do.

Actually, no. But I won't even argue. Please refer back to my original post. Anybody have ideas? :)

No offense taken ChuckNorris. No worries, my apologies on misunderstanding.
I agree with the "devil" talk as crap..

The devil likes that you're a capitalist AND that you're profane.

How am I profane? I haven't used profanity or criticized anyone in any way. I'm actually being nice about it. And would you quit it with "the devil" talk. Seriously. It's getting lame.

Any real talk about entrepreneurship. :)

I believe entrepreneurship is great. Its what makes life in the 21st century great. If you want to be an entrepreneur, I respect you more than these altruist volunteers or self-righteous religious types or do-gooder liberals.

You can try to run a simulation of the stock market. In our school we have something called the Stock Market Game..You pay a small fee (like $5-10) to enter, and you start off with about $100,000 of assets that you can invest in stocks..The object is to see which team or person wins. Your stock records are modeled on the NASDAQ and the DOW composites, so you need to check your investments on a daily basis if you want optimal results. You can try something of that sort.

I do not have much information about small businesses.

protege...she wasn't calling you profane...she was calling chuck norris profane...you have to start getting with it buddy...

Oh and ChuckNorris, protege is from China. So while NASDAQ and the DOW may not be the best model for you, I'm sure the Chinese system would work just fine.

ChuckNorris: That sounds like a great idea. I recently heard just today an idea from someone else just like that. I really respect that idea with the simulation of a Stock Market. Thanks for that suggestion. I'll jot it down somewhere :)

Dv I was referring to our stock market game. Obviously he can replace it with whatever they have.

I don't respect your tone dvlfnfv5. So critical about people's opinions and stuff. I'd just like a nice talk with people's inputs about a possible club idea.

Appreciated guys. keep em coming :)

You guys can actually start a business :P duh? :)

Haha I'll refrain from speaking of the devil. But remember that he sees you when you're sleeping/wresting money from poverty-stricken people.. ;)

Yeahh, I couldn't help myself..seriously, though, y'all should start a small business at your school (selling food is incredibly lucrative) and make money off of the student body. Also, you could look into job shadowing/internships at local businesses for the members of your club.

I'm critical of other peoples opinions am I? Well that's news to me. How did I do that?

You're a fool. Noone is beating up poor people and getting rich like that. You have no idea about economics. Capitalists create wealth through offering products and services. The amount of wealth in the world is not fixed, so if Bill Gates makes an extra 5 billion it doesn't mean I make 16 dollars less every year. Are you even past grade school?

our school has a "Future Business Leaders of America" Club...maybe you should start that...

Wow. I like that club idea. hm... :) I agree with Chuck Norris. it's not reallY TAKING, it's just earning to me. ANd it's not like my goal is to take money or anything, I just want to have some experience.
