I am currently listed as pre-business economics.
I hope to get into the major but after taking Management 1A I'm not too sure I will be able to get a fantastic gpa in the pre-req classes.

Do you get into the major if you are over the minimum gpa? Or, is it a different approach?

I'm a little worried about getting into the major, since my gpa will certainly not be spectacular after the pre-reqs.

Your question seriously makes me question how you even got into this school.

go to econ.ucla.edu

if your “primary score” (modified GPA calculation) is greater than 3.3, you are in the major, if lower, you are not and will likely just go into regular econ.

**** binks. i suggest you not to worry about getting into bus-econ. honestly, its a very competitive major and i have friends who have changed their majors because of the accounting courses. worst case scenario is you become an econ major and decide to do accounting as a minor. i know a couple of people who have chosen that route. also there are some acct courses that also can count towards the econ major. hope this helps.
