<p>all you have to do is fullfill IGETC at your CC, then you dont have to do the GE req. at the UC</p>
<p>Like Rgrego said, if you fulfill the requirements for IGETC you are good to go for the UC writing requirements. IGETC requires one entry level writing course (often English 101/Freshman Composition) and an Analytical Writing course (otherwise known as English 102 or 103). Of course, the specific names and/or numbers of the courses may differ based on your community college, but you can find all of that in the IGETC.</p>
