Entry Requirements(NL)

Hey!
I’m planning on applying to a few Dutch schools (low tuition yay!). I’m almost finished with the applications for University of Amsterdam, University of Groningen, and University of Maastricht.
They require four AP scores. I haven’t taken AP classes (medical reasons and scheduling issues).
So I’m planning on selfstudying for them. I know of a few people that have done that and they did pretty well. Not sure which ones I should take. I heard Psychology, I was in that class for a short time and I feel like it wouldn’t be too difficult. Spent allot of time in the psychology department at Kaiser because of my depression and anxiety.
Anyways, Im mostly annoyed that they don’t accept SAT or ACT scores. Which is crazy.

Of course they are not going to accept SAT or ACT. They are not American schools.
What do you want to study as a major? What are you good at?
Have you read their websites to read the admission requirements?

You need to check with each school, but chances are they want to see AP scores in the basic fields – English, History, Math and a science. European high schools are focused on core areas, and their universities like to see your performance in those core areas.

@paul2752 I’m applying to other schools outside the US and they DO accept the ACT and SAT. Of course I’ve checked the website, that’s where I learned that they didn’t accept the test scores.
@katliamom I pretty sure they’re looking for AP scores relating to my course. But I’ll definitely still sign up for the basic exams.
