Envelope-- big or small?

I'm getting nervous already (especially reading these posts) and I applied EDII...that's one long wait, lol.

i love dogs- I HOPE SO TOO!!!!

yeah I just realized I said "...we can all be freshman of the class of 2010 at wash u together" and yes, i meant freshmen, not freshman... sorry i'm big on grammar/spelling so i can't have you guys thinking i'm retarded...

jtslick, what part of NJ are you from?

morris county

What is Wash U's usual ED acceptance rate? I know it's a lot higher than RD, which is something like 20%...

I just found out that the salutorian (is that what you call the guy who is second after valedictorian?) at my school (which is a prestigious private school in nyc) last year didn't get into Wash U early... so now i'm really nervous. But the good news is that a kid who I think had grades similar to mine and was an overall nicer guy got in regular... so I think this proves that Wash U really looks at the student and not just the numbers.

i don't know i think last year around 1200 people applied ED adn 314 were accepted, but i might be wrong. i'll check on it tomorrow since i work in the school college office.

Is that ED I or both EDI and EDII

oh boy 2 weeks

btw i've heard that the ed acceptance rate is the same as the rd acceptance rate...i could be wrong but i'm almost positive that's what someone said at an info session

My counselor said it was just over 40%.

wow i am very wrong then...sorry guys

Bs You Are So Dumb Why Would You Post Idiotic Comments Of Course Ed Is Higher Than Rd!! Don't Make People Nervous Because You're A Shoe In For The Rejection Pile!

everyone welcome jb12790, best friend and fellow early decision applicant, to the wash u forum

JB Needs To Learn When It's Appropriate To Capitalize Letters.

On a side note, welcome to the forums. Huzzah! I hope we all get in.

=)

i believe it was both EDI and EDII but i can check the statistic, the director in the college office mentioned it in passing.

hi jb and bs... yeah i'm almost positive the ED acceptance rate is higher for wash u. i know it's not for all schools (like georgetown EA is the same, if not a bit lower) though. it's kind of weird to think that only 1200 or so applied early and at least 6 or so applicants have been on this forum... that's like .5% of the applicants on here. hah we are special! and we are all so getting in!

i responded in caps before as joke, me and bs are best friends. how much do you think legacy counts?

ilovedogs - i hope that's true but don't jinx it lol

btw does anyone know how to convert gpas from a 100 point scale to a 4.0 one...i've heard several different things and i'm not sure what the right one is
sorry if that's a stupid question

bs the ripmunk needs his sleep...i told you 4.0 is 95

jb STOP LYING

we are NOT best friends
