<p>Does the size of the envelope that I give my teacher for her Common App rec matter?
Should I give my teacher one of those big manilla envelopes, or will folding it into a normal or smaller sized envelope be fine?
Can I staple the pages together?</p>

<p>IMO, i think you should go with the manilla envelope just so your teacher doesn’t have to fold the paper and it can go nice and neatly to the adcoms, and i don’t think you have to staple it.</p>
<p>Don’t staple the pages together. Paper clip is ok.</p>
<p>Use a regular size envelope, unless … Stanford wants 9x12 envelopes. I presume it is because it makes it easier to scan.</p>
<p>Don’t forget to put the proper postage on the envelope.</p>
