Environmental Economics/Natural Resource Mgmt/Enviro. Policy Admin

Can anyone give me some insight into some of the top Masters programs in this field? Any and all information you can provide would be extremely helpful!

If it matters, the student interested in applying is a strong applicant with over a 3.7 from a top 40 school in the country. She is double majoring in Economics and Environmental Policy and is interested in continuing her education in the field at the graduate level.

Geographic location is unimportant at this point.

She is trying to gather as much information about the respected programs as she can.

So far, the schools being considered are:
Clemson
UGA
Oregon
Washington
Some of the UCs

She would rather not go to U. of Maryland, if possible.

Thanks so much! Feel free to PM me as well!

I listed some programs reputed to be strong in this area. One of the complicating factors in choosing a program is the diversity of programs that are available. While some economics depts offer a specialty in environmental economics, most programs in environmental & natural resources economics are found in departments of agricultural economics (sometimes, called applied economics or ag & resource economics) in the ag schools at land grant public universities. Other programs in this area are found as a specialty focus in schools of public policy or schools of natural resources/environmental studies (sometimes, natural resources programs are located in ag schools and sometimes, they are freestanding schools).
