If I were to major in environmental engineering, would I choose the College of Engineering or the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences? Would appreciate some opinions and advice.

It’s a joint major between CALS & Engineering.
You should definitely just apply for CALS. Better chances that way.

If you’re a NYS resident, CALS is much less expensive.

If sure you want to do something environmental but are not 100% positive on engineering, CALS is probably a better place to be because it offeres more flexibility.

If you’re 100% sure you want to do something engineering but are not 100% on environmental, Engineering is probably better because of flexibility.

Does anyone know the “significant” difference between the two colleges for the major?

Well your graduation requirements will be completely different for the two colleges

Are the requirements for the majors still the same?
