Does anyone know any information about a possible environmental engineering program at NYU? If there isn't one, what would be the closest option and which school would that be located at? I appreciate any help, and thank you in advance.

This is my first post on here! On a more important note, there is a school that might be what you’re looking for. It’s NYU-Poly, which simply put is NYU’s School of Engineering and Technology. Hope that helps!

^ straight up. Poly has a major called “Sustainable Urban Environments.”–> [Sustainable Urban Environments, BS | NYU-Poly](http://www.poly.edu/academics/programs/sustainable-urban-environments-bs) I actually took a course in URB on megaprojects @ Poly (I’m a rising junior in Electrical Engineering). It’s easily my favorite course since I started college! We basically examined the impetus for and effect of very large scale investment projects in different cities around the world. The professor was great… the class took a field trip to/tour of Rockefeller Center, and there were a lot of applicable, pragmatic lessons learned. I really admire that you’re interested in such a major! Even though it’s typically geared towards attracting hippies (sigh) I think this type of degree could maybe have some srs life-changing properties :s

Thanks guys! I appreciate the help. Yeah, I’ve known since freshman year in high school that I wanted to major in SOMETHING environmental science and really change the environment I live in. It’s something I love to study and learn about. Thank you for the information! ^.^
