Environmental Policy Programs

Hi there - looking for input on some different options for a Masters of Public Policy with a focused concentration on the environment.

I know some of the top schools are

Indiana University - Bloomington
University of Michigan
Columbia
University of Wisconsin

Some background on me...

My GPA was 3.55 in undergrad (International Relations) - member of honors college
During college worked for the Department of Environmental Quality as intern
Post college work for municipality within their environmental division, also worked for Big Ten School as a recycling coordinator for their home football games.
Have not taken the GRE yet - anticipating score of 1200-1300

Could people offer some middle of the line Public Policy programs that are solid programs that I could get into with these stats? I am looking to apply to 5 schools minimum, 1 long shot, 2 solid chances and 2 very likely to get it. Right now my top choice is Wisconsin - would my stats be competitive, or would this be the "long shot" for me? :)

Any input is greatly appreciated!!

Also - I am very open to input on public policy schools in general vs. those that focus on environmental policy…

I’m not too sure about public policy, but a good IR school that offers MA in International Environmental Policy is the Monterey Institute of International Studies. Top 20 for IR. They also have a Public Policy program (I’m sure you could probably focus in Environment), but I’m not sure how its regarded.

Thanks for the input, perhaps I will expand my search to some international environmental policy programs - I was hoping to focus on domestic policy - does anyone have suggestions for some viable public policy programs? Thanks!

I was under the impression that UW, Berkeley, Duke, and UNC Chapel Hill also have exceedingly strong environmental policy programs.
