Is environmental science a good major to go into? What kinds of jobs can it lead to? I'm interested in both hands on lab work as well as environmental policy. I would also like to work with animals (conservation of endangered species, things like that).

If its what you want to do, sure, go for it. If you want to get a really good job in your field, you need a masters or PhD. I, myself am currently planning on doing Pre Med biology or business and may go for a PhD in it and work in the Finance or Environmental sector. that is the beauty of PhD’s. they are actually very flexible.

If you just want to get a bachelors I suggest networking with the government to try and secure a government job and taking as many internships as possible to maximize job potential. As environmental science does not have the best job prospects.
