I am considering either double majoring in the majors mentioned in the title or major and minor with both of them and I'm wondering if someone could tell me some of the good environmental sciences schools that also have a good economics program.

Thanks!

Middlebury's environmental studies program is strong in both the natural & social sciences.

Cornell has one of the top ranked undergrad business programs (Applied Economics and Management) in which one of the paths is an environmental focus.

Cornell also has the top ranked Natural Resource Management program (which in most professional circles will get you further than environmental science because it is more applied and practical). Both are in the College or Agricultural and Life Sciences.

Good luck!

Pomona has the environmental analysis program, within which one of the subtracks is economics. Both departments (as well as the natural sciences and other social sciences) are very strong.

ASU has the nation's ONLY program in sustainability, if that interests you.

Williams is very strong in both economics and environmental science. Its location in the Berkshires provides easy access to some profoundly beautiful nature well worth conserving. The president is an economist and the department is highly regarded.

I second applejack's recommendation, especially his comment on Natural Resources. (Its slightly different).

Claremont McKenna has a great EEP major (Environment, Economics, and Politics) which you might be interested in!
