So basically, I recently learned about EOP/HEOP and since i knew initially that Binghamton is way out of my league, im considering to apply through EOP during the fall. My GPA is a 90/100 in which i've taken only one AP class junior year and will take 2 in senior year, and my SAT's are just average (below average in Bing's terms). I also come from a low income family so i think im eligible economically. i've also done numerous extracurriculars. Do you think ill get in? and if you know any other additional info i'd appreciate it =)

You can find a few links and information here: [Binghamton University - Undergraduate Admissions - Educational Opportunity Program](http://www2.binghamton.edu/admissions/students/eop.html)

also here is an electronic brochure of the EOP Program: http://www2.binghamton.edu/admissions/pdf/eop-brochure.pdf

thanks. i checked it before though and i even emailed them. ill prob just ask them personally when i visit.

anyone else?

last year, my friend got into EOP with 1120/1600 SAT and average of 85. So if you write an ass kicking essay, youll get in. Good Luck!

thanks!! =)

WOAH!! that gpa is pretty high for eop , my friend got into eop with a 78 gpa and 1500/2400 SAT score…so they lower your standards , but ou should def get in through regular admissions, btw did you hear anything from them yet?

ok so im not too sure what my grades are like right now but i know financially i definately qualify financially for eop, so do you think its possible for me to get into suny binghamton with lets say like a 2.0 gpa?
