<p>I am confused on whether or not to apply for Educational Opportunity Program (EOP). I am a low-income student and some disadvantages in education. Will that program help me? What kind help will I get if I apply for it? I heard it has only some stupid meeting if you get accepted to EOP. I also heard that EOP will give you more scholarship, and it will increase your chances of being accept to the UCs. Are those true? Please help me? Should I apply for it or is it just a waste of time? thank you very much~~~~~~~~

<p>It does help you get into the UC's. At schools with point systems, they give a significant amount of points for being part of an EOP program. It seems a bit unfair, but if you get the chance to join it, I say go for it to improve your shot in admissions.</p>
