ePay / Account Balance - scholarship question

In OASIS, under Financial Information, I looked at the USCe.pay/ Current Billing Balance page to see how much I would need to pay. I found a line that says "Account Balance", which I'm assuming is my financial aid.

But here's the question - should I be seeing figures for one semester only, or for the entire school year? Either way, my balance seems to be way off, but it'd be nice to hear from others how their financial aid stacks up to their account balance.

They bill you by the semester so what you see there on ePay is for Fall 2009 only.

“account balance” is what you currently owe the university (unless it’s a negative number)

Scholarships/loans will not be posted until a week or two before the balance is due.

My sons presidential scholarship is posted and his USC grants.

However the stafford loans and NMF scholarship is not yet posted. I never pay until a day or two before it is due and it all gets wrapped in

Where did you see it posted? I can’t even call up a statement - just shows an amount due.

josie, after you click on “epay-current billing balance,” your current balance displays. Just above your name is a strip with “Overview-Users-Transactions-Statements-Make Payment.” Click on the one labeled “transactions.” Then click “Press to sort” and your transactions will display. By the end of this week you should have a statement under “Statements.” Here is the login: https://camel2.usc.edu/OASIS/Login.aspx

This question just popped into my head.

For those who need to take out additional loans to cover the billl, do we take out the amount we need for both fall AND spring semesters? Or just fall?

And since we already know the amount of grants/loans/etc we received, we can just deduct that from the Account Balance and that would be the amount for which we need to take out the additional loan, correct?
