EPGY e-Learning

hey, does anyone have any information about the EPGY program? the website isn't very in-depth.

perhaps the time you have the online courses? (i was wondering if they have specific time for you to log on and take the course, or if you took it whenever you wanted kind of thing.) i was also wondering whether the courses were any good or not?

thanks if you comment. :D

Hey! Which EPGY classes are you looking at? I took English, Math and Physics a couple years ago and did enjoy them quite a bit. If you are an avid learner, and don't mind the idea of studying from a computer screen, EPGY should be good for you!

For the sciences classes (as far as I know), there are NO mandatory online classrooms, which means that you complete the lessons whenever YOU choose to do so. For English, however, there ARE online classroom sessions. Some are mandatory, some are not (depending on the course you registered for). In general, there are several time slots available each week, and it's up to you to choose whichever one suits you best.

Hope that could help you a bit!

wow, that post was extremely helpful. thanks!

i want to take a physics class. maybe i should take an english class too. i just reread my topic post and the sentences are not fluent at all. ;P

Can you only take it in the summer?

I, for instance, would love to take some of those courses during my senior year. Would that be possible?

You can take EPGY classes at anytime during the year. Just look at their website.

Yup, that's right: most classes begin whenever YOU decide to sign up. From that time, you have 3 months to complete the course at your own pace. If you finish before the 3 months are up, you can begin the following course at no additional cost. If it takes you longer than 3 months, you get to pay again :D.

HOWEVER, for the courses that have mandatory online classroom attendance (including most of the English ones), there are some predetermined "terms" and deadlines by which you must have signed up and completed assignments.
