My daughter is thinking of taking EPGY Stanford online physics (P10A-C Introductory Physics) over the summer. Is that a realistic amount of time? She's an A student in BC calculus, so I suspect the mathematics component will be straightforward (they require algebra), but it also says that it's a year-long course, albeit divided into 3 parts. She doesn't have other scheduled activities this summer, but doesn't plan on spending her days in front of a computer either.

My daughter would like to take the course to avoid her HS honors physics teacher. With credits from EPGY she could go right to AP Physics, which has a different teacher.

It seems like it should be doable. My son took one of CTY’s fast paced high school science classes (Chemistry in his case) so he could go straight to the AP class. (And avoid some scheduling issues.) They covered the entire year including required labs in 3 weeks. I realize EPGY has been doing this for quite a while, but I can’t help feeling that taking care of labs must be less than optimal in an online course.

EPGY P10A-C Introductory Physics IS AP Physics B and then some. If she doesn’t plan on spending her days in front of a computer it’s going to be very hard.

John Hopkins CTY has an online honors physics course. That might be more digestible.
cty.jhu.edu

I’ve seen discussions of CTY’s honors physics course, but although the course is in the CTY catalog it is not in their course listing as an available course.
