<p>I'm a current sophomore, I'm applying to EPGY. I don't want to go because I want something to look good on my college applications, so is it worth it then? It looks better than programs like P2P and NSLC, but not at the same level as really selective programs. </p>
<p>(I'm assuming it would be best to go this summer instead of next year, and then next year get a job or internship.)</p>

<p>Some will say this program is not prestigous enough. However, my D went a few years ago for the Particle Physics course and had a great time. The class was challenging and she learned a lot. She enjoyed being around others who were interested in the same subject matter and the professor who taught the course. Nothing negative at all. She still keeps in contact with many of them.</p>
<p>I know EPGY is expensive, but for her it was well worth it the investment.</p>
