Gahh, I've asked this question in a few threads, but no replies. :( I just wanted to know if anyone had anything...at all....on the waitlist at Episcopal. I'm on it, and right now I only know of 2 people on here who have come forward saying they applied to EHS. But if anyone has friends, family, acquaintances, or themselves that know the status of the WL, please post here! Thanks.

It is a great school. If you want to go there, be sure to fight for it. Because Episcopal has a smaller boarding pool, it is not often mentioned here, but it is a top notch school. Good luck.

I know this will sound sarcastic, but it isn’t: Have you called the Admissions Office and asked outright? They have nothing to gain by not telling you the truth. And it might make you feel more settled…

I actually haven’t, but their hours are Monday-Friday, I’ll give them a call tomorrow :)

I know a family that applied late and received an expedited acceptance. Full pay boarder.

o.o Oh wow, now I feel insignificant and average. But hopefully they’ll call this summer with at least 70%…although that’s not likely.

I had applied to EHS and got accepted. I’ve decided to attend EHS instead of some other schools better known because it is a great school like paobs12 said. They recently posted a “students by grade” sheet that lists all of the future students. I’m sorry but it seems like they won’t be taking anybody off the waitlist soon unless a lot of people decide to forfeit the deposit. 79 out of the 90 accepted are going to attend the school. I would start looking at other options, just in case.

I know this is an old thread, but just wanted to correct a point that could be misleading to others considering EHS. The way that I interpret this comment is that it implies that EHS has a small number of boarders. Actually, it is 100% boarding; even those who live in Alexandria and could easily attend as day students must live on campus. But I agree that it is a top notch school! :)
