Hey guys I’m new here and this is my first post. Anyways I need some help. I got an email saying that I need to turn in EPT scores by 5/4 but I should be exempt. I got over 500 on the SAT Critical Reading and I’m sure that means I am exempt from EPT. I could always just take the EPT on 5/4 but it says score are due that day and it takes 4 weeks to send in. I would have taken it earlier but it said in all my other CSU admittion status I am exempt. What should I do?

tl;dr Said I should send EPT scores, but I should be exempt. May be too late to take EPT. What do I do?

PS: I called admissions during work hours, but only a voice machine answered and idk where to go from there.

Go to that link, click “register for the test”, and fill everything out. You’ll get to a page where it tells you to put in what high school you went to/are attending and whether you took the SAT, ACT, or both. On the next page, it’ll ask you for a 10 digit state student ID, which you have to get from your school(normally, you can find it on the student portal where they post your grades, etc.). Once you fill that out, if you are exempt, it’ll tell you that you don’t have to take the EPT, ELM, or both, depending on what you got on the SAT. From there, if you in fact are exempt, you don’t have to do anything else.

Nvm I just made a new one with the same info but different username. Yea it says I am exempt, I didn’t even need to put my SSID or anything, just said I am exempt.

The $100 enrollment fee cannot be wavied. I asked last time if FAFSA would be able to cover it but they said FAFSA won’t be able to make their deadline. If you have extra financial aid money, you will be able to keep it at the end of the year.
