<p>Pretty sure that the idea is to give you all equations that you’ll need. That way you’re tested on using the equations, not how well you can memorize them. I don’t see Gauss’s Law…could have missed it though. I think its a little strange that they write out the Coulomb constant every time instead of just using k.</p>
<p>They like to give you basic, generic formulas. Never any special case formulas. But be aware that there are no limitations as to what programs you can put on your calculator, as long as it isn’t a QWERTY calculator. My advice (and what I’m doing) is making a program with all of the special case formulas and derivations. And then I’m selling it to my classmates for $20 each :)</p>
