Eric Lin

Does anyone know a freshman named Eric LIn who is attending Stanford this year?

you're better off using facebook. If you don't have a login, let me know, I can look him up if you need contact info or something.

What's facebook?

WHAT?! Its myspace, but its limited to ppl w college email accounts.

Except there is now a high school facebook. Way to stay up with the time, Stanfordians.

Ugghh, the high school one won't help this kid find a stanford kid. Way to put 2 and 2 together.

Facebook is such fun now isn't it. A tool a game.....hmmmmmm

Actually, it might, but i was saying that there isn't ONLY a college one now. And for the record, 2+2=4.

"Actually, it might"

Call me a Stanfurd Turd, but how will the high school facebook help you find a Stanford student?

^ cuz dey'll brag about it on their myspace

Okay, let me work out the logic for you. Are all people on the college face book in college? No, but they had a college email accound, and for a very large percent of them, if they are not in college, they graduated from one. Now, if one graduated from a college, and has a profile, is it not possible for a graduate of a hgh school to do the same thing?

How did you get in with those logic skills?

Now, if one graduated from a college, and has a profile, is it not possible for a graduate of a hgh (high) school to do the same thing?

And therein lies the paradox. Of the 100 or so friends that I have on my h/s account, none of them are alumni. In fact I thought that college kids hated it when high schoolers infiltrated the college one, and it seems pretty loser-ish to get a high school one. Especially since you can search on the college facebook by high school, it would seem somewhat redundant to create a high school account, unless you really wanted to hook up with high schoolers, or kids who didn't go to college but who went to your high school.
If you are suggesting that one could have graduated from a h/s and kept their account, the high school facebook has only existed for about a month.

Now, as for this specific Eric Lin, he is on the college facebook. He is not on the high school facebook. I bet you $87.70 that he will not create a high school account by the time he graduates college.

As for me, I haven't gotten into Stanford. I did the discovery institute on philosophy 2 summers ago, and attended summer college/did research this past summer.

So how do I go about finding this guy? Any concensus?

I just PMed you his email.

Isn't it kind of rude to post about someone on the internet and try to track them down through random strangers??? why do you need to get his info?

Rude isn't dangerous........scarry is. I just hope nobody tracks me down this way...you want to think "when was that baby born?" or "your Mother is dead" or "got winning lottery ticket time is running out" geeezzzzzz tell us a little more.

I knew him back in KY (orchestra) and all I know is that he went to Stanford.

i sent you a PM.

Hey Goldfish, did Eric Lin attend Dunbar MSTC? I think I went to middle school w/him but I don't keep in touch with him.

Yes, he did go to MSTC. What middle school did you go to? LTMS?
