Erica Meltzer's Grammar Guide

Has anyone tried it out?

I posted a review on here a couple of weeks ago, you could look for it if you’re interested. There are also some excellent reviews on Amazon.

I used the book to prep for the March SAT and my score increased 100+ points. It has a plethora of advice, tips and strategies. Your knowledge on SAT writing will accrue form reading this book.

Have you seen or perused through her SAT prep blog? You’ll see that she posts really great advice when it comes to Critical Reading and Writing for the SAT. In her blog she posted a preview of the book/ I would give you a link but we’re not supposed to post links. If you like what you see in the preview of the book… the rest will be

One feature of the book that I am infatuated with that no other SAT prep tutor has… is the Appendix at the back of the book. It is basically categorizing all the questions in the Blue Book through the rules they are testing. It is of tremendous help as one can practice with the guide and then move on to the blue book and try out her methods on actual SAT questions.

There are so many good things I could keep on talking about it… it really is a great resource. One can tell that when making the book, the author kept the student in mind. There are so many things and tips in the book that really facilitate the learning process. It honestly is just as good as being in a tutoring session with her.

If you have any other questions post or PM me, I’m willing to help!
