I work an average of 15-20 hours a week
I wrote an essay (about overcoming a challenge or whatev) about my road test and how it has influenced me to seek help (academically) while showing that i can accomplish anything with easy via my determination, dedication and hard work.
Oh and first quarter I did pretty good with an average of 97.2. I sent them that report card as well.
Oh and my school doesn't offer any honors/ap classes, but my guidance counselor put down that I am taking one of the most challenging curriculums he's seen in his career.
Ohh and I want to do Environmental Engineering
But like the day after I sent my school forms and crap, my guidance counselor wrote a really good letter of recommendation. Should I send it now? Will they get it and put it with all of the stuff I've already sent? AHH what are my chances??? lol

if you are applying to neu with those cred you probably aren't very smart...

First---pat yourself on your back--you have worked hard to be number one in your class. Have your guidance counselor send in your letter. You already know that your SAT scores do not fall within the range average scores of the accepted students at NU---but remember---average means there are some applicants that have lower scores. Now...with that said...lets say you get accepted...you are in a class with students who test well--say 1500 plus m/w SAT---would you want to be in their class? There is no wrong answer-but give yourself permision to think about where you feel you will excel. G'Luck-

Yeah I'm probably going to go to a SUNY school

okay i sent the letter
still not sure if i want to go there even if they accept me lol. the giant class sizes are intimidating. not sure if i could get accustomed to that, heh.
but i'm definitely not intimidated of higher scoring SAT students.
