Applying to:
Ohio State
Case Western Reserve
University of Michigan
Kenyon
Northwestern
Loyola of Chicago
Dartmouth
John's Hopkins
University of Penn.

I plan on going to medical school and I looked into some BS/MD programs. I'm not eligible for OSU's. I don't think I would get into Case's and I definitely don't think I would get into Northwestern's.

I don't know if I should cut back on some reach schools and add some more safeties. I'm a really bad judge when it comes to whether I'll get in or not, so I need all the help I can get. Any suggestions regarding other schools are appreciated!

just make sure you dont make the hopkins possessive
its johns hopkins, not john's hopkins

yea, that would be a no no on any addressed envelope to the school

Ohio State--Safe Match
Case Western Reserve--Safe Match
University of Michigan--Match
Kenyon--Match
Northwestern--Match to Slight Reach
Loyola of Chicago--Safety
Dartmouth--Slight Reach
Johns Hopkins--Match
University of Penn.--Match to Slight Reach

The absolutely only problems with your application are your very slightly below average test scores and your lack of academic awards. Your passion with your religion stands out and should get you into some of these schools if you seek a major that relates to that subject. The questionable schools are noted:
Dartmouth, Penn, Northwestern, (and possibly) Johns Hopkins.

Even at most of these, though, you will notice that I ranked you Match or Match to Slight Reach. (Dartmouth is the exception--and the most difficult one for you to be accepted at).

Good luck.

Wow, I'm feeling rather dumb regarding the apostrophe. Thank you for pointing that out!

Calcruzer, thanks a lot for your response! I was beginning to think I wasn't going to get any. Yeah, I figured my test scores might be a problem. I'm contemplating retaking them. If the school takes both tests and I typically do better on the ACT, should I retake that? Or should I retake the SAT because my scores seem to be lower on that?
