I found two. My first was that I accidentally put down that my mom was born in the US when she was born in China. The other is that I forgot to include one AP score in English Literature and Composition (I got a 4). Do you guys think I should contact the Yale admissions office about this error (fax or otherwise) or is it not a big deal?

Maybe the score might be somewhat of a concern although I don’t think it would make an ultimate difference to be honest, especially since it’s not a 5.

And definitely your mom’s place of birth has almost zero relevance unless it was mentioned in your essay or somewhere else and caused a clear contradictory crossover confusion. If so then call, if not, you’re fine.

Problem is that I’m worried that Yale might think I’m trying to hide my 4. My essays don’t mention my mom, but I think that might be confusing because it says she attended a Chinese university for undergraduate study.

I think I’ll call them anyway to make sure that this is resolved. It can’t hurt to show that I don’t want my app to look bad to them right?

Thanks for the help.

Might as well contact Yale
It won’t harm you for finding those mistakes/ wanting to fix it. And I agree, that Yale may thinking that you’re hiding your 4
