Reading over my EA application, I just realized that I made a mistake reporting one of my SAT II scores. I (unwittingly!) added 10 points to my Lit SAT II score on the "self-reported" part of the common app. I assume it's too late to call Yale now and inform them of the mistake.

Do you think it may be held against me, or will they simply take into consideration the scores sent in by CB?

They'll see you tried to cheat them. A 10 point increase IS in fact quite large, especially when applying to top schools. I would def call them.. just try to make sure they don't get the impression that you added 10 points to cheat them and now are changing it because of the potential repercussions.

i still think they'll understand, it's not as if you could actually suceed in lying considering you sent in the official report too. but, then again, it couldn't hurt to call and make sure.

That's terrifying, Vadox and Dude08! Well considering it was my third and only non-800 score, I sure hope they don't hold it against me. I will call in first thing tomorrow, though!
