<p>so i finally gave in and looked over my apps and found that i made a mistake in one of my short responses to brown. the thing is, it’s not a simple one-letter typo or singular/plural error. for some reason i think i copy&pasted one of my final drafts with a few extra words at the end of a sentence (that are redundant and gramatically incorrect) to brown which i should’ve caught but didnt as i was rushing to submit the app on january 1st, since i was unsure if the freaking deadline was really gonna be extended. turns out it was. :(</p>
<p>but anyways, if i wanted to delete this part only and leave the rest the way it is, who/where would i send this updated version to? it’s not too late to do this, is it?</p>

<p>yeah i know but its really bothering me. has anyone submitted a revision this late? and where/to whom would i send it? should i call the admissions office in the morning?</p>
<p>Sending in a revision draws unneeded attention to your error. And even if it didn’t, can you imagine how an admissions officer would feel reading an email from some kid who bugs them in the middle of the busiest part of the admissions cycle to say something to the effect of “Please kind sir, would you delete a couple of words for me?”</p>
<p>I don’t know how true that is, because they know we’re all human and how much we all freak out about the little things.</p>
<p>But I do agree that adressing it only draws it more attention. Just try and let it go, what’s done is done. I made mistakes on an essay too, but i’ve forgotten about it and let it slide. It is what it is.</p>
