ERRORPROOF way to learn your chances!!!!!

Apply!!!! And then wait ... All of the feedback from people on messageboards who don't know what they're talking about for the most part will either a) stress you out and intimidate you, which might come through in the application or in an interview or b) inflate your head to the point that you're overconfident when you really shouldn't be, and maybe THAT will come through in the app or interview ...

Anyway my point is that no one is doing themselves any good by asking a bunch of strangers their chances of acceptance when nobody but the adcom knows - and I don't think they're patrolling the boards looking to answer questions about chances...

Just take the risk, apply, cross your fingers and keep hope alive, people.

And a final note - to those who ask their chances before even applying - I'm 100% sure you won't get in unless you APPLY ... so if you even KINDA think you want to go and you can afford to apply (or can get a fee waiver), just go ahead and do it!!

Just my two cents ... Best of luck to you all ...

Ok, I understand that there is little validity to what people respond to other peoples chances, but that's the whole point of this forum.

I don't understand why someone would come in to a forum with a specific purpose and then try and convince those people that it was pointless; they understand what's going on.

Also, you get a lot more from posting your stats and app material than just what are your chances but people give you good advice for filling out your application such as what not to focus on, whether or not you should put certain clubs/activities because you might think they are good but they are really common, or even just retaking the SAT to help you a bit.

Anyways...that's my two cents.

lol i agree with super azn, but then thiticalcrinkin also has a point. if you go into a forum that asks "what are my chances" and u post a thread saying DONT ASK WHAT ARE MY CHANCES CAUSE TAHTS STUPID, then i think that super azn is in the wrong place. but overall, i agree with super azn cause seriously, people in here think that if u have ONE flaw in ur application, like a 1300 sat, then u WONT get in....
also you people with practically perfect stats, shut up and quit whining geesh

this is stupid. That isn't an error proof way to learn my chances.
Chances, acceptance, and rejection are all different things.
