errr little confused.. regarding CalSo and class selection.

i'm going to CalSo in June 12~13. I believe we are to sign up for classes(10.5 units?) there with by using telebears. But depending on what scores I get in AP tests, namely in Calc BC and AP Lit, i may be able to skip a few classes or fulfill the requirements for them. But since the scores come out in july, how are we supposed to know which classes to sign up for? Because i think i passed my AP Lit, but I don't know whether i got a 3 or 4,,, tho I'm pretty sure it's not a 5. If I got a 4, i will be able to sign up for Reading and Comp 1B where as in if i got a 3, i will have to sign up for 1a...

Well I kinda sound confusing but you know what I mean, rite? lol
can somebody plz answer my questions?:(

That was my concern last year, and I ended up not signing up for any R&C classes my first semester. The advisor said to just hold off on R&C in general until spring semester, when you are sure of your score. Since R&C can be fulfilled as late as spring semester sophomore year, you won't be behind even if you don't take it your first semester at Berkeley. Did that make sense? Sorry if it didn't, haha.

could you reverse the order and take an RC 1B course then 1A?

yah winterpolaris is correct, just wait there is no rush to get your R&C class finished. As far as passing out on math I would beware depending on your major and whether u are pre-med

Happyggal: Don't worry! The L&S advsiers and your CalSO counselor will sort you out. There are numerous scenarios that they will go over with you.

You can take B before A provided that A is not a pre-req but pre-reqs aren't enforced so go ahead.
