erskine for phy 303k

is erskine really as bad as his instructor surveys and myedu say he is? i look forward to taking physics because it's my favorite subject. and, i have two years of experience in algebra-based physics from high school (Pre-AP Physics and AP Physics B).

the myedu stats show that he gives about as many A's and B's as any other physics professor (definitely not as many good grades as the top physics professors though). so is it doable to get an A in his class by just learning from the book and/or the TA? (granted that apparently he's not that great of a communicator).

thanks, in advance, for your opinions!

eh its doable. I had Professor Coker and I got a B+. Physics is just complicated. I say its more pre-cal based than calculus based.

from what i’ve heard, since people say the homework and exams are the standard ones that everyone gets department-wide, it shouldn’t be too difficult. i’m hoping that’s true.

Are you a freshman right now? Whats your major?

yeah, i’m a freshman. ME major
