Espanol Tres

During my frosh and sophomore years (spanish 1 and 2) I had a HORRIBLE spanish teacher. I learned a small amount my frosh year, but last year I slept everyday in class and still got A's because the teacher didn't do anything. Now I am in Spanish 3 with a new teacher and she is an excellent, but I am one of the worst in the class because I didn't bother to study my first two years. The new teacher understands that we all had a bad teacher and are a little behind...but I am afraid that our spainsh 3 class is far below other schools with spanish 3.

What are you guys doing in Spainsh 3 now, and what are some of the major things you covered in your first two years?

This might sound odd, but i am really REALLY passionate about spanish and I tried my best my first year, and now my third year. I want to major in Spanish, but I am so scared that I will go to college and be way to far behind. :(

RIght now my class is studying subjunctive clauses and commands in the nosotros commands.

wow, that sounds so much like my situation. frosh& soph years i had an extremely easy teacher, got A+'s every single term, and didn't learn a thing. this year i have a hard teacher who's ok, but she expects us to know so much stuff that i don't. to add to my problem, my class (of about 12 students) was the only class to still have the bad teacher for sophmore year, while everyone else in our grade had the better teacher, so we are the only ones that are behind. my new, hard teacher is not understanding about the situation at all. soo frustrating. now my GPA is going to drop so much because i doubt im getting higher than a B/B+ this term
