So for the first supplemental essay (the one about being a part of a community) I really don't know what to write. I just don't feel like a part of any community, religious, geographic, cultural, economic or otherwise. I'm trying to think of something relatively creative yet at least somewhat true for the question but am having some difficulties. The closest thing I could come up with is treating one of my clubs as a "community" of sorts (either Garden club with the whole getting together to beautify out school yadayada or Science Olympiad with coming together as a team blahblahblah) but i don't know if they would like that. Does anyone else have this problem? Any suggestions?

i wrote this essay last year & wrote about my sense of community in 1 of my clubs

I would say the common issue about this essay is that UofM recognizes that you are part of many communities and only allows your to pick one. But once you have picked one in which you think it has potential to be a good essay, it should be fine. That club could definitely be considered a community, the question itself is very open to the definition of a community.

But like I said before, I think the hardest part about this essay is picking just ONE.

i did NHS. it was tough to fit in 250 words though

Mine is 342, is that a problem?
