Essay Advice

Anyone have some to share? I feel kind of lost when I do the ACT essays. (But strangely not during the Sat essays.)

hmm...can I just write like an SAT essay? Would that work?

The major differences are that the ACT essay is supposed to be longer (up to 4 pages instead of 2), you have 5 extra minutes, the topics always pertain to school affairs and are much more specific, and you are expected to restate the question in your introduction.

I got a 10 on the ACT essay and a 12 on the SAT essay, and I think that was because my ACT essay was too much like an SAT essay, if that makes any sense. You are expected to have a more solid opinion on the ACT essay, with more specific example/arguments (2-3), and have a developed introduction and conclusion.
