Essay Book that has advice on the style of writing

So I have already decided on the topic for my essay , but what I want is a good essay book that addresses less on "How to choose a topic" and more on the grammar and style mistakes that should be made and basically how to improve the language of the essay ?
I have already seen posts that recommend these 2 books -
1.On Writing the College Application Essay, 25th Anniversary Edition: The Key to Acceptance at the College of Your Choice By Harry Bauld
2.Conquering the College Admissions Essay in 10 Steps, Second Edition: Crafting a Winning Personal Statement by Alan Gelb

Does anyone have experience with these 2 books? Which one would better suit my situation? If there's any other good book Please mention it too .

Thanks in advance :)

Bump. Anyone?

Harry Bauld’s book is excellent. It will show you the weaknesses, cliches, and otherwise boring elements that would make admissions officers roll their eyes at your writing, while also providing tips on how to actually write that essay, and an original, interesting one at that.
