<p>Essays will push a borderline candidate over the top, but they won’t make up for poor test scores or grades. </p>
<p>In regards to the November 1st deadline…Rolling admissions can be interpreted as “first come first serve”. The early action is basically just a guarntee that you will have a decision by a certain date. Applying after November 1st doesn’t necessarily mean you will hear after all the EA candidates. You could hear earlier or you could hear later. Thats why it is always suggested to apply EA for the guarntee.</p>
