<p>I'm a junior, and I'm trying to find some prestigious essay contests this year to enter for scholarships or to simply add to my college application. I'm particularly interested in history-related essay contests, but these are sometimes harder to find.</p>

<p>So I was just wondering-does anyone have any suggestions for essay contests? Any suggestions are welcome</p>

<p>P.S. On a side note, could anyone recommend history-oriented summer programs? </p>

<p>This is a contest for high schoolers to write about international affairs. It’s very challenging. HTH :)</p>

<p>History Day is so rewarding and a great experience; I’d recommend looking into it.</p>
