Essay Examples

If the prompt asks about something that has to do with the modern world, like, "Is the world today changing for the better?" or "Is creativity needed today, more than ever?" how do you you examples from literature to prove your point?

I guess you could use something with current events?

But that first one doesn't really sound like a typical topic... most of them tend to lend themselves using a personal example if you want, but that one doesn't.

yeah i didn't think they were typical topics either, but one if from the blue book and the other is from the downloadable practice test

Oh... that kinda sucks :-/

For the first one, do you think it would be valid to cite two or three instances in history when things changed for the better, then say the world continues to do so today? Or does that not answer the prompt?

well, at least now you know those wont be on the SAT

hahahah, good point :-D
